This class is about honing your acting technique while playing a scene with a partner. We will work on how to create and commit to a story arc, how to apply your skills for maximum performance and how to make strong character choices supported by the text. This class is a favorite amongst attendees and these skills can never be practiced enough.

Want to learn to how to approach the art of acting? Improve communication in all areas of your life? Learn to connect with your ability to deliver an authentic message and have a greater sense of self awareness or how you are being perceived but others. These foundational skills are critical for authentic acting performances but also are of benefit in most areas of our lives. Our most popular adult class is the perfect place to explore your interest in acting, going a greater understanding of the craft or to just hone life skills.

Drop in for only $10! This program is for any level of experience. Come and join us for an informal get together. We will meet other adults who’ve always wanted to try their hand at comedy improv or others who want an opportunity to get back into or practice their skills. We engage in many games and exercises that practice working at the top of your brain, learning to think on your feet, and trusting your instincts. Loads of laughs in this inviting and supportive environment.

If you are looking for a more serious commitment or more consistent Improv practice, consider joining our troupe which meets weekly. There is also the option to participate in local performances.

AGES 18 & UP ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME
Learn the technical side of acting in front of the camera. This class will focus on performance techniques for the specific genres of commercials, film and television. Students will work on camera and will have the opportunity to review their work, receive feedback, and explore angles, distance, and performance techniques specific to film.
